NSM will modernize COCESNA’s flight inspection capability aboard its Beechcraft King Air B200.

Oslo/Tegucigalpa, August 2026 – Norwegian Special Mission (NSM) has been signed a contract with the Central American Corporation for Air Navigation Services (COCESNA) to renew their airborne flight inspection system with NSM’s latest-generation UNIFIS 3000-G2.

The system will be integrated in COCESNA’s Beechcraft King Air B200 by Mode Aviation in Guatemala City. The upgrade will provide COCESNA with a modern platform for the inspection, calibration, and validation of navigation and air traffic management infrastructure for the region.

UNIFIS 3000-G2 is NSM’s high-performance flight inspection solution, designed for efficient operation, flexibility, and long-term reliability. The UNIFIS product family supports the flight calibration and validation of conventional and emerging CNS/ATM technologies, including satellite-based navigation and surveillance systems.

The renewed capability will support COCESNA’s flight inspection activities across its six member countries—Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua—strengthening its contribution to safe, reliable, and efficient air navigation throughout Central America.
